Summary

game freeses entire system

Description

when i am playing eaven with all mods desabled and grafics on low, the game randomly freeses both my game and the rest of the system. the system freeses to the point that usualy i cant eaven move the mouse. i have tryed to do ctrl+ shift+del but nothing happens, the only way to get the system back is by shuting it off with the fysical on button on the computer.
i have also verifyed that it is the game that causes the isue.
i have looked at task manager while it hapens and nothing is going on 100% mening that either it is a pure but somwhere or it goes to 100 so fast that task manager cant track it before it to freeses.

Steps to reproduce

run the game untill the system freeses permanently. helped by runing on high grafics setings

not sure if i mensioned it but it differs how bad it is depending on how high the grafics setings are, and there have been times that if i pause the game fast enough i can recover the system before it perma freeses.

Yes, if you have Windows 11 24H2 this is certainly the cause of this problem.

it is a severely broken Windows update that has caused problems across the whole gaming - indeed computer - industry.

Some users found relief in various ways:

That aside, Certainly make sure you have the latest MS updates for it installed, but if that doesn't help all you can do is revert to 23H2 if you still can.
