game freeze on selecting "exit"

Hi All,

I just purchased the game thru Gamersgate ,CK Complete, and I have it patched to 2.1 beta.

I am running Win7 and have installed to the default location.

I loaded the game after installing CK and found that when I selected "exit" it froze and I had to shut it down by going to task manager where it says the program is not responding. The same problem happened after installing DV and the 2.1 patch.

I have been reading thru the forums for the past few weeks and do not recall seeing this topic although it is quite possible I missed it. I am looking forward to playing CK. Recently I have been playing M2TW with that Deus lo Vult mod and find it fun but lacking in areas that I think this game will do a much better job simulating.

Well the game seems to be functioning normally in all other aspects except for the "exit" freeze. I think I have a work around, alt-tab to minimize the game and then right click on the CK icon in the tray and select close the window.
