Game Freeze

Hi. Cannot proceed with my campaigns, the game freezes as soon as technologies pop up appears. playing as Thebes. updated the game to the hot fix patch 1.0.2 hoping that would help, but results is still the same: tech pop up on 1 June and a freeze.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/Imperator/pdx_settings.txt.
From your Documents/Paradox/Imperator/logs/ folder, attach system.log .

Win7 eh .. I guess if you had the usual wim7 issues the game wouldn't even start!

As the issue happens on a pop up the other possibility is a video driver issue, so try this one:

If that doesn't help, this is probably a game bug rather than a tech support issue, so the Bug Teports forum would be your next stop then.

thanks for trying to help. i installed the hotfix but the issue still persists. curiously enough no other campaigns are affected. will post in Bug Reports, thanks again
