Game freezes and Steam crashes

I bought the game yesterday and i started to play it.
For some reason it didnt connect to the "paradox servers" but the game worked fine.

Today i went to my steam account as usual and presed the Play button. After one minute or so the game freezes and steam crashes every time i try to play it.

It sounds strange that Steam would crash because of the game. We now have a thread on how to report bugs here. It would help if we could see a log file from the crash.
