Sometimes when I win a battle, I will go to the results page. When I click continue, the game will crash. This happens very often, but not all of the time. Usually, I make it to the loot collection screen, but just now, I fought a French battle group. I had one Frigate and they had 3 Galleons and 2 Xebecs. I got some to surrendered and destroyed the others. Crashed after results screen and before loot screen. Played it again from same save. Crashed again. This is getting annoying and the game is damn near unplayable!

No, while loading the loot screen. You know, first you get the screen that gives you battle results (what ships surrendered, what fled, what destroyed, etc...). Then, you get the loot screen where you pick what ships to keep (of the surrendered ones) and which to destroy. You also pick what goods to take with you. Well, the crash occurs between the debriefing screen (battle results) and the looting screen.
