Game keeps crashing at the same point

I'm able to play Victoria 3 without issues until I get to a certain in game date, at which point the game completely crashes every time, even loading an earlier save and trying again I can't get past a certain date.
I've tried validating game files in Steam, a clean reinstall, disabling Vsync and full screen, nothing seems to work as it continues to crash at the same date. I had this on a previous save as well when using mods so started a fresh game after a clean install with no mods and managed to get about 10 years further in the new save/game until it starts crashing again.
I'm playing the game from Steam on Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X with 2070 TI.
Happy to attach any logs that are helpful. Any support would be great

Right click on victoria3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.
Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.


If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here. IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.
