Hi,

I've been playing EU: Rome from Good Old Games and its been great, until recently in my playthrough the campaign has become unplayable.

After about 100 years of in-game time had passed, the game became a little unstable. Random crashes, saving a file takes a bit longer (used to be instant, now takes seconds). If I go to the menu and load a new game, it will make some of the graphics disappear. If i go to the menu, and select different save files, if I iterate through a couple it will make all the map graphics go away and become unplayable.

It is now 200 years since the 474 start date and it is not playable anymore. It just crashes if I load the save file. Sometimes it will load, and I get to press the unpause time button but after a few months of in game time it will still crash.

I tried starting a new campaign to see if this happens, and it runs perfectly fine in a new campaign. So it looks like over time it gets more unstable? Very bummer, my game was just getting interesting :(

any tips? Can I salvage the game? I have a lot of save files from previous times.
