So I just downloaded the game, and I launched it. The game launched the started loading things like sounds, etc. when it gets to graphics it just sits there. Anyone have an answer

Preloading the graphics takes time, possibly up to half an hour if you've got a slow PC. How long is it sitting there for?
Sounds like a post for the tech support subforum.
The first launch can be a bit slow indeed. Stuff gets copied into Documents, music, cache files etc.
Half an hour though as Bunnytob said above is far too much, unless yo got a very slow and old PC.
Sounds like you simply need to try to all the typical things to see what helps.
See one of those general tech support help posts in the threads there, if you dont' want to wait for a response.
It's probably trial and error. Un-and reinstall, software requirement, disabling fullscreen optimisation etc.
