Game repeatedly crashes recently [MacOS]

I have played the series for years...ever since original EU...for EUIV always played on my mac....I recently got a brand new Macbook pro ..its only a couple months old. But, regardless of what country I play...I can play for awhile...but lets say up to 1480 for example...then it crashes...and if I reload...it will shortly crash again, I can only get a few more days into the game before it crashes again. I play on ironman. Then, a rainbow circle starts swirling and a "Report to paradox" about issue comes up. Any help is appreciated.

You probably got one of the known macOS/Linux crashes from recent eu4 versions. Have a look at the exception.txt to find the first few function names in the demangled stack trace and try to search for them in the bugreports forum to find other reports about the crashes and some workarounds

Paradox has not announced if they will make another patch or not

Okay well thanks for your responses, I appreciate it.

I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed, because they have always been a solid company. This is the first time I have really experienced and issue which makes the game unplayable. I know it's not on my end, because my macbook is brand new and cost over 2k so it's a good machine.

Anyway, will probably just try Civ VII out for a bit because I havn't played that yet, and maybe if I check back in a couple weeks Paradox will have patched this issue.
