I've noticed that you can achieve a higher game speed when playing on multiplayer compared to single player. (If you compare Extremly fast between MP and SP then MP can get much faster)
Can I start a MP game when only I is going to play it, cause the start button is faded when you're alone in the MP game so you can't start it. Is there a way around it or can you reach the same maximum speed of MP in SP?

Thanks!

This is most likely because of 2 reasons.

1. You compared a 1936 fresh start MP game with a SP game of much later year with alot more units and things to calculate.

2. You compared a MP game with alot of players handling most of the units so the AI didn't have to work as much. (in 1936 UK+USA+USSR+GER+JAP have most of the units on the map, probably 75% or more together).

Playing solo in a MP game wouldn't go faster from any of these reasons.
