Game speed

Hey, I seem to be unable to change my game speed. I tried to use the crtl + and crtl - button combinations, nothing seems to change. This is the first time tried to play vic on my laptop though.
Are there any suggestions how to change the game speed, in-game?

I think unless your laptop keyboard has a numpad you're screwed unfortunately.

Well... that kinda sucks I guess?
Unfortunately my new laptop doesn't have a numpad.

Well thanks anyway. I guess the only solution is to buy wireless keyboard, or something like that.

My last laptop (vaio) had a numpad which you could activate with the Fn + numpad command. My current laptop doesn't possesses such a feature.
I have no numpad, no numpad activation button or Fn + numpad command. The new generation Dell laptops don't come with an integrated numpad.
