I'm up to around 1240 in my CK game and it all of a sudden no longer loads past "Initiating Script". It just sits there, I've waited a little while but not sure how long I should (I waited about 5 minutes once).
Has anyone else had this problem? I've discovered my savefile is huge, probably from all the family history stored in it, but it should be the same size as anyone else whose played this far in from 1066, so if its a size problem other people should have encountered it. Anyone else whose played well into the 1200's have any solutions?
Loading was slowing a bit in the years before, but never more than a minute, and then suddenly this morning not at all.
I have 1.04a on Windows XP. My computer has a gig of memory, 80 gigs of hard drive space.
If the problem is size related does anyone know a way to prune unimportant information like who the 12th ancestor of some king is?
