I have DD and just installed it on my new 64 bit HP dv7. The computer has a 17.3 inch screen and when I play the game the screen only occupies the center of the screen. Is this a resolution problem, do I need to do something to the computer's resolution or is there an ingame option to make it take up the whole screen?
Right click your mouse on with the cursor on the "desktop". This should bring up a little window where you should be able to choose something like "graphic properties" or "graphic options". If so, try graphic options >> panel fit >> maintain aspect ratio. What terminology shows, of course is dependent on what graphics chip/driver you have. But I remember I had a similar thing when I got my lap top a few years ago; it has a 17.3 wide screen and I think setting it to use "maintain aspect ratio" took care of it. The choices I have are: maintain aspect ration (this does center it but I only lose about 1" on each side, nothing on top/bottom), centered (this centers it on all sides and is really too small for me), full screen (stretches it out too wide so that it is a bit distorted).
