Hello,

I`m having one problem, on some missions where there is to much units and missiles this game became unplayable which is sad and of course I cannot play cause fps drops to zero. My config is Core 2 Duo@1.80, 2GB ram, HD6670. Is this too weak config for play or?

Hello,

It is definitely below the recommended spec, which is 4Gb RAM. I would strongly recommend you upgrade the memory if you can; it will feel like getting a brand new machine for very little money.

Turning down the graphics to a minimum will clearly help, but the big sink is the number of units that has to be simulated beyond real-time, as you have noticed. We'll keep optimizing the game, obviously, as we want to make it more efficient.

I'm delighted not to be the only one having performance issues.

Even with the lowest resolution, lowest graphical settings and 3D-animation off, I get serious fps drops and sound "lags"... It's sad because the game has a tremendous potential.

Is it possible that the game does not take advantage of multicores and that a single core could not handle all the threats?

Win 7 64bits, 16GB RAM, gtx460, intel quad core

According to my CPU monitor, it uses both cores (running only a dual core system) so I dont think its that. Give it time, the devs are a new team and I hope they are working on the fixes.

that's why we post our comments,so we'll help them fix the game! Every new game needs some months to become sufficiently stable.Even WINDOWS verdions are a mess in the beggining....But as far as i can see,the devs are releasing patches,so we're in the correct way!

Noobinator you are doing something wrong.

I have the same specs as you but with 4gb RAM not 16 and the game runs flawlessly. I have everything maxed and never see any frame rate issues. It does lock up if I click on a huge group of missiles though.

Drivers updated, when was the last time you reformated?

My PC is fresh and clean, latest Nvidia drivers...
GPU drivers could indeed be the issue. I've tried to play on my thinkpad x220 which has only an integrated intel gpu and the results were much more convincing... This is so frustrating...
