Game Won't Continue

I have 1.3 and everything (Armageddon) installed, but it stops on 1/1/1955. I try unpausing, pausing, doing various combinations of things, but for some reason it just won't go past this date?

Anyone heard of this problem?

Yeah I did. I reinstalled a diff copy of HOI2D+A in a different folder without time limit patch and it ran past 1955.
