Game wont load.....cannot create device invalid call ..... is there a trick / fix a cfg file to change.

I was able to play the game once, it set it to 18xx x 1020 instead of 1920 x 1080 so after resetting res in game it quit loading giving me the error cannot create device invalid call, I completely deleted the game reinstalled it from steam and I get the same error. Must have saved some configuration to windows?

Try deleting the current.xml file. It is the file that keeps record of your resolution.

...\Steam\userdata\...\205990\local\current.xml

Same issue here on startup. Deleted the current.xml file but no luck. Any ideas?

edit: the problem seems to have corrected itself! :)

I get the same problem when I try to start the game.

When I delete the current .xml file the game starts but when I change the resolution back to the prefered 1920x1080 and try to start the game again the same problem emerge.
The solution can't be to keep deleting the current .xml file over and over again each time you want to play the game, right?
