Description​

The game won't start when launching through Steam. The launcher appears ok, the game start for about one scond, only black screen, then back to the launcher with the message:

I've been working with a Linux Mint user in a ZenDesk ticket with exactly this issue - was that you?

If not though, we were unable to resolve it there, it's presumably some incompatibility with Mint. If you've just bought the game please seek a refund from that store.

Hi, No it wasn't me.
Sad to hear, but it's Ok, in the meantime, it can still run with Proton.
I'll try to revert to a 5.15 kernel, this is what the game used to run on, we'll see...

Edit: Well... that did the trick, kernel 6.8 does not seem to play nice with Victoria 3, reverting back to 5.15 (which is the pre-installed version) works like a charm, you might give it a try for your other issue
