Game wont start

When i try opening the game a black window pops up, then the screen turns black and the game closes itself.
I tried updating my drivers and reinstalling directx and the files in the magicka2 steam folder.

I have the same problem exept the black screen, game just doesnt start, no error, no nothing.
updated driver, directx, reinstalled game. It didnt help.

Also got the blackscreen/no feedback/insta crash bug
Steam is convinced everything is alright

tried to install to different locations, checked every harddisk, virus, update etc etc

Can you try and turn your SLI off to see if that is the problem? :s

I did already, including removing my second Grafics Card. But that didn´t help either

That is very strange, I'll have to poke around some more in hope to find a answer :/

I am currently not with my computer and will see if there is any more SLI deactivation I can do, I will report back as soon as I know more

So plugged out my second grafics card, installed directx again and checked the grafics card driver.
Windows Event log is clear, I had some entrys with nVidia Streaming Service wich I deactivated manually.
But still there is no team killing Magicka 2 action going on :´(
Steam is still confident everything is alright

Command/Black Windows appeares/ takes over full screen/ crashes without error message
I´ll append another dxdiag file as current configuration

Can you check your user_settings.config file that can be found in: %appdata%\ParadoxInteractive\Magicka2
Check what resolution the game is running in, it should be located almost at the bottom of that file. Don't know if this will help but I run my game in 1920x1080

I sadly have no user_settings.config file, as it seems Magicka 2 crashed even before configuring itself.
In your mentioned folder (or in %appdata%\Roaming\ParadoxInteractive\Magicka2) there is not a single file, just a lonely "logs" folder with 70 all empty log files, with names like "console_2015-06-03-17.33.29-czyrgvmt.txt"
I usually use 1900x1200 as my resolution, but changed to your mentioned 1900x1080, but even then Magicka 2 crashed

I'm having the same issue, the game not even start, no error log, no blackscreen, nothing. Also, i don't have the user_settings.config file. Something new on this issue?

If you don't have a user_settings.config in the mentioned folder, just create the file and edit with notepad.
