Gamebreaking: Grand tournament progress stuck while date progresses

Description​

I am hosting a grand tournament, and the next event within it is stuck. It endlessly says "happens in 1 day". Then a day goes by, it doesn't happen and just repeats "happens in 1 day". My character is stuck in the event and cannot perform normal gameplay because events override everything else.

This is an ironman save which I have played 120+ hours on! I really want to continue playing. Savefile was stored on steam cloud but I downloaded and have added it.

Host a grand tournament.

This issue seems to persist after todays update. Im currently verifying files but Im not being hopeful.

Game version Lance (1.9.0.4.)

Same problem still persists. Verifying files does not help. New save file attached. (New version of the same ironman save file)

This issue should be fixed in version 1.9.0.4. Please let us know if the issue persists after creating a new Grand Tournament.

Its an ironman save. I cannot create a new grand tournament because I cannot leave the current one because of the bug. Or do anything else for that matter. I provided a new version of the savefile in the bug report.

If I buy a 30 euro expansion, I expect it to NOT SCREW OVER AN IRONMAN SAVE IVE PUT CLOSE TO 200 HOURS IN.

Do you understand how gamebreaking this bug is? Being in an event overrides everything else. Character is unable to do many interactions because "they are already in an event".

Here, I provide further info: There is no option to cancel the event, because I am hosting it.
