Gauging interest in game as non-majors?

Hi, I've never done multiplayer before but I always thought it would be fun to play with a group against the AI as non-major powers. I was thinking either as the lesser members of the Common Wealth (Canada, Australia, South Africa, NZ) or maybe as a Balkan Block (Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Yugoslavia) or I dunno some other combination of countries. If anyone would be interested in trying something like this just let me know.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea, I remember playing a short session with some guys where we were 4 IIRC and we all shared Germany 1942. I was the supreme commander, and everyone had their own responsibilities. One had Luftwaffe and the Westfront. One had the North-Eastfront and Africa. and last one had the South-Eastfront and the Kriegsmarine. Worked pretty well in the same vein as you are talking about. and was a lot of fun.

But multiplayer is so difficult in this game. Imagine playing D&D with randoms you just met on the net. not to mention the language barrier where half of the DH players who read this are using Google translate. good luck team working that.

I tried launching a small MPDH forum half a year ago. it flopped. because of all of the above mentioned reasons. and probably because I suck too.
I would think the best way to get a good long game going would be to do it in person (LAN) with people you know.
