I have two grandchildren, they are the only heirs. I have Agnatic-Cognatic Gavelkind but for some reason the older daughter is first in line with my grandson (the other child) comes second. Shouldn't my grandson come first and my granddaughter second?
In my current game as the di Canossas turned kings of Italy and Sicily, I'm getting some really weird behaviour from Agnatic-Cognatic Gavelkind:
First, my king died with four sons. He had two kingdoms and two duchies. All of that went to the older son, while the younger ones only got counties.
Then one of the brothers died in prison, and the his brother married his daughter (the king's niece).
Now they have a son. A single son, who should inherit all the titles from his father. But for some reason, instead of the son being the heir to the entire kingdom, the queen is first in line for half the kingdom:
