Hey!

I started as the Daura in the 867 bookmark, to see all the map changes to Africa. Great job on that!

While playing I switched to Female preference sucession, and eventually reinforced when Reforming the religion. However, I noticed that other religions are still very much ok with matrilineal marriages and would readily accept them. Even for rulers who would thus forfeit their dynasty. On the other side, I noticed some female rulers of my own dynasty entering into non-matrilineal marriages and ending up with non-dynastic heirs. For example, I landed two daughters - giving them newly conquered lands in Maghreb. When their husbands died, they both re-married non-matrilinealy which would cause issues for me later on.

I feel that the acceptance formula needs some work, so that non-standard marriage (Matrilineal in male-dominated societies, non-matrilineal in female-dominated societies) becomes an exception rather than something you would see that often - especially for rulers and 1,2, and 3rd in line to inherit.

I won't write paragraphs on marriage rules for in-game Rule Selection, I think it has been requested enough times.

At last, the edge case....Equal! I think it would be extremely cool if you could negotiate a third kind of marriage - not ordinary, or matrilineal, but a marriage where a new house is created which is viewed as valid for purposes of succession for both dynasties. So for those societies that choose equality rather than giving any gender a preferred place, you can enter into equal marriages where the children are viewed as valid dynastic successors for both parties. Essentially, it just doesn't feel right than in a equal society a marriage would result in a 'game over' for one of the parties.
