Yeah... in my latest test game, playing as Eire, I let Wales go as a vassal and didn't stick up for them - it led to allowing me to play nice with Scotland and not wind up in any European wars at all.

As far as the Brittany land-or-navy event, I think the event could stay with the slider moves toned down to 3 or perhaps even 2.... since we are talking about only one of the sliders, I think 3 is doable.

So, instead of a shift on Aristocractic of 5 and Land of 5, just shifting Land plus or minus 2. You are the voice of reason, sir.

Some of the Caliphate's core granting events have a bug..

the lines read

war = { country = CAL war = XXX }

and should read

war = { country = CAL country = XXX }
