Hey all, I'm new to this section of the forum, but now I have my official copy of the game, I bid you hello 
I'm an EU2 vet but I've only been playing HOI2 for a little over a week. It seems an awesome game and I've had many hours of fun trying to remedy the Reich's mistakes on the eastern front.
Yesterday I download the Stony Road MOD and GFX pack. This seems to make the game alot better, especially after I then downloaded the "correct" Japanese and German flags off a friend. Though I believe the former is included in the GFX pack.
My question is (I've read HOI2Wiki BTW, very informative) - what are your recomendations for the best overall HOI2 setup? Anyone familar with EU2 will know what I'm on about. What's the best set of MODs and alternate stuff I should be using to get the best from the game?
I've been looking at the 1914 MOD which looks amazing on paper. I'd love to play as the Habsburg and German Empires circa 1914/18 and command Colonel T.E. Lawrence in Akaba and whatnot - anyone have an ETA for it? I've browsed the forum and can't seem to find a download link, thus I assume it's still a work-in-progress. Any other WWI MODs about?
