General issue : The game is starting and I am able to see the first screen with loading theme. Sometimes the game is failing in this stage but in most of cases I am able to see main menu, choose the game (new one, tutorial- I tried few comibantion) and go to loading screen. After that when the game should start beome an error and closeing the game . The error measge: paradox crush reporter. An error has occured and the aplication quit unexpectedly.

Description​

- The error is always when I am open the game via '' normal'' way Steam->Paradox launcher . At this way often I am not able to pass first 'opening' loading screen.
- Rare (2-3 times) I was able to play for few hours. That was when I am opened game via steam->paradox launcher->debug mode (full screen mode) . I tried to experiment with on/off V sync , and other parameters but I can not catch any 'gernal' rule.

Steps to reproduce​

My Pc is fine with technical requirements to play Victoria 3
I trieded to open the game with admin privileges
I added the Victoria 3 exe to list of exceptions in antivirus
I tried a lot of tips founded in yt
I wrote an e mail to paradox support. After really fast reply , we installed the game again and I sent the logs with error to the operator. Summarasing I recived the information : 'The possible cause of these errors could be the corruption of the specific game/save or the presence of a faulty mod. As we do not have access to the necessary tools to investigate the script/modifier errors, it would be advisable to seek assistance from the developers. I recommend sharing this issue on the official forum of the game. '....so I am writing

First please update that Nvidia driver to April 2024 https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Reboot, then if GeForce Experience is running, unload it.

THEN expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb

Optional: Increasing the paging file size on Windows computers

On computers that have 8 GB of RAM, the suggested paging file size is 16 GB.

AND exit every other app you can before starting the game.

Now test with a new campaign, not any existing one. Any better?
