German version - play in english?

is there any possibility to change the language from German to English? I don't like the translation.... not to say, it's horrible in parts...
With HoI, EU or Victoria I could choose the language upon installation, this is no longer possible with CK. Even the english patch doesn't work with the German game. Any idea, how I can change the language?

Not at this time but you should be able to change the text displayed yourself if there are problems that are bothering you.

Is it possible to edit the language by changing the registry like in the german version of Victoria...? Just a thought....

Not if you do not have a copy of the English langage files.

Since CK and Vic come in Standard with English Files , just install English Version in Vic or change the CK registry to english before patching with the english patch.
Same works for EU2.

Is there any chance, that Paradox provides a way, to change an international version to english? This would make reading this forum and MP with peoples in other countries much simpler.

THis may have to do with publishing rights and deals with distributers.
