Get 4 DLCs for Free

The Common Sense and Rights of Man content packs don't seem to be integrated into the base game and are free on Steam now, but still cost money on Epic Games. Is this intended? Thanks

That's weird. Is it possible to look at the folder where the game is installed? There should be a subfolder builtin_dlc. Does it exist and does it have the following contents?

• dlc001_100_years_war_unit_pack
• dlc002_horsemen_of_the_crescent_unit_pack
• dlc004_star_and_crescent
• dlc005_american_dream
• dlc006_purple_phoenix
• dlc008_conquest_of_constantinople_music_pack
• dlc027_art_of_war
• dlc038_women_in_history
• dlc039_common_sense
• dlc060_rights_of_man

That's weird. Even if the current integration would not have worked, it should at least contain dlc038_women_in_history. Is there a way to verify the integrity of the game files in the xbox/microsoft store?

yeah there's a verify and repair option but it hasn't changed anything

Hello, I bought the game with the 4 dlc offer on steam (starter edition), but it has been impossible to activate the dlc since the purchase (October 15)

The DLCs are now part of the base game since October 17th. You don't need to activate them. If you want to know that they are working, you can check some of their features. E.g. in the court tab you have abdicate and disinherit buttons if Rights of Man is working and national focus buttons if common sense is working and you can check Art of War by looking at the fleet window to see if you can mothball and upgrade ships

Does this apply to the Microsoft Store edition as well? I have the game and it is updated, however it seems that the DLC features are not in-game. The DLCs no longer appear in the store either.

The DLCs should have been integrated into the base game in the Microsoft Store edition as well. But something went wrong with that. The developers will probably fix it next week

I have heard that there was an update to the Microsoft Store version yesterday. Are the built-in DLCs working now @Basileus of the World @baseda10 ?
