Getting a 503 error backend when trying to access the pdx forums, but can bypass it with a VPN

[Question]

Does anyone know what is going on or who i can talk to regarding this? Lately ive been getting a 503 back end error when trying to access the pdx forums, but if i use a VPN (like i am now) i can access the forums fine. I live in Singapore btw.

Tried switching between my ISP's DNS and Google DNS and i see no difference.

Edit : One other person in the PDX CON discord server is having the same issue and is also in UTC+8...i wonder if its some kind of routing issue?

Edit 2 : Problem seemed to start at 6+ pm today and ended right after 12 midnight. Odd.

Edit 3 : Seems to be region related? A malaysian VPN wont bypass the error 503 but an australian one will.

G'day!
This should hopefully be solved now. Turns out there was a cut undersea cable (we didn't do it, I promise!) which resulted connections from Singapore and parts of Australia was timing out. Not sure if the cable is back in action but we've done something in our backend that should hopefully sort this until the cable is back in action.
