You can get the "very hard" achievement carolingian consolidation by starting as the only landed karling in 1066 and getting your title revoked and becoming a mercenery, you then get the achievement because you have the duchy tier adventurer camp, even if you dont have land

This Achievement should be locked to 867, to prevent this or the Devs should not allow Adventurers to be counted for this Achievement and/or make it Empire only.

Some formerly hard achievements become easy with new dlc.

I'm still waiting for a non-gamey way of doing Saga in Stone.

Back on topic it never was a hard achievement. As Charles the Bald you can easily get it in his lifetime, and with bad RNG with him dying too soon on the next generation without fail.
True. I was able to get the achievement with Charles the Bald. He has claims to all the lands of his brother and nephews. Louis the Younger should also have a pressed claim to Lotharengia and unpressed claims to Bavaria and Aquitaine. It seems more historically appropriate to do it as Louis the Younger.

To be fair once you become the dynastic head claims don't matter that much because you can just get them paying renown. Being able to do it by becoming an adventurer is like an oversight, but otherwise doing it in 1066 feels harder than 867.

No, that would be Charles the Fat. Though not yet called that in game he is the youngest son of Louis (Ludwig in game) the German and was the last Carolingian to rule over the entire empire, which either Charles the Bald or Louise the Younger accomplished. I'm kind of shocked he isn't a bookmark character.

He did it historically through luck, but Louis is the senior most Karling and is theoretically suppose to be the liege of his other family members.

It can be kind of hard to get into a position to be the dynasty head. Charles the Bald is a pretty hard nut to crack. Lothair may or may not get a legitimate kid out, and internal control isn’t the best.
