V0.2 seems to be working fine.

Something I noticed in testing though, given ROCN effort to establish a submarine arm (hiring advisors, sending crews to be trained overseas) a Submarine doctrine tech team is definately in order, perhaps even at the expense of one of the other naval doctrine abilities.

What I have been playing with:

Forgive me if I'm not interested in ComChi.

(Psst... it's Republic of China, not Kuomintang.)

Not my favorite either, but it would not be a china pack without them. Not very fun to play, and a nice healthy tech tree would be very hard to climb with their one tech team.

PLA's arms list is even smaller, and even harder to fill. They seem to grab a few pieces of early-mid war equipment and go strait to semi-modern. :(

CHI_GFX v 1.2 full is now up.

And

CHC_GFX v 0.1 is up.
This mod will be much less comprehensive as CHC usually can't climb very high in the tech tree.

The Air unit list is FUBAR, as is the lower Armor list. What equipment the CCP used was captured from JAP or ROC, very little if any from the Soviets until the fall of Manchuko. Most of what they got from the soviets was at least was early 1940's vintage.

To do: Add anchor pictures for PLAF.
Add PLAN naval units.

China_GFX v1.0 (Full) is up.
Though I am not happy with the PLA unit lists, I added anchor pictures from the existing aircraft list to the file. It might make more sense to have the CCP manufacturing Soviet aircraft and armor than Japanese ones.

Plus I will not have to do such a major overhaul. :p

The ROC paratrooper pictures are from the 60's. But they are wearing US WW2 jumpkits, carrying Garands, and jumping from C-47's. :D

Just noticed this. China bought Renault FT-17s, not FT-7s.

Odd, the line reads:
MODEL_CHI_5_0;Renault FT-17;Renault FT-17;Renault FT-17;Renault FT-17;Renault FT-17;Renault FT-17;;;;;X

It should display as "Renault FT-17." It displays correctly on my version, and it is one of the base models I kept, so it should be the same.

You can change the names of the models each country uses by editing \Hearts of Iron 2\config\models.csv. You can add pictures by looking in \Hearts of Iron 2\gfx\interface\models\ for the files beginning ill_. Syntax is easy to figure out.

Remember to keep backups.
Is your avatar a flag from the Canadian flag change 'competition' of 1965, or the Quebecois referendum of 1995? Sorry. Only interested in Permangate's flag here.

Then there isn't a need for necromancy.
None really, though it did remind me that I found some post war Mustang pics with ROC markings... (pretty sure they are from the CCW) now if I can find them.

Edit: Found them.

Used the other one... already

This should be named "ill_div_CHI_12_2", though the pic it replaces is from the 14AF...

Sigh... Nothing was given out in any surrender documents:

http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/wwii/j4.htm

Repatriations were were spelled out in:

http://www.taiwandocuments.org/sanfrancisco01.htm

I repeat:

China recieved NOTHING as China was NOT ASKED to sign at REPATRIATIONS treaty.

This isn't true. China received a total of seven DD's as Japanese reparations in 1947, and they were transferred to the ROC in four terms. And the San Fransisco treaty thing obviously had nothing to do with this(Just like the US received IJN Nagato for nuclear test in 1946)...since that happened in 1951, which was 4 years after the naval transfer.

1st term(transferred on July 6 1947 in Shanghai):
IJN Yukikaze(Kagero class), IJN Hatsuume(Tachibana class), IJN Kaede(Matsu class)

2nd term(transferred on July 31 1947 in Shanghai):
IJN Sugi(Matsu class), IJN Tsuta(Tachibana class)

3rd term(transferred on August 30 1947 in Tsingtao)
IJN Yoizuki(Akizuki class)

4th term(transferred on October 4 1947 in Tsingtao)
IJN Namikaze(Minekaze class)

Only Yukikaze and Hatsuume were officially commissioned in the ROC Navy. Sugi was grounded during the transfer and therefore was obsoleted...... The rest was used for naval training.

Don't know if anyone can read Japanese or Chinese, but I'll still offer these websites to y'all(which I think are very useful), hope this may contribute something to the entire project!
