I've run into a problem when I have two naval groups in the same port. Let's say two groups of 18. If I select all units in port by draggin mouse box over it, then click the split units box, then without moving any units from one to the other I just click off on a province or something I end up with a ghost unit.
Basically, each of the two original units seem to move normally, but they always show two flags, even though all units are in one group. I cannot regroup or anything to make the extra flag go away. Also, sometimes they are selected when I click their home port, even though they are somewhere else on the map.
Let me add that one of the original groups may have had a land unit embarked on transports at the time I first selected them.

Please follow the sticky thread instructions on how to report a bug.

I read through the sticky before posting. If you're mean I should upload a save game, I forgot to say that I did not upload save game because saving and restarting fixes the problem. If not, I don't know what I missed.

What you missed is reporting it here, since this is not a bug reporting forum.
What the sticky clearly says is to e-mail bug reports.

I've already reported what I think is the same bug. It seems to happen because you press the 'unload' button when your fleet is in port; you then get a ghost fleet. If you know of another way to duplicate the same thing please report that.

The fix is simple enough: just save and re-load your game and the problem will be fixed. At least that has worked for me. Unfortunately, save/load has its own share of problems but that is another matter.

This is not a bug discussing forum either. ;)
