I had a bishop vassal I installed into Badajoz. He was well behaved.
Then I realised I hadn't heard from him for a while. When I checked - he had died 6 years previously, but was still listed as the ruler. I could even "interact" with him!
I kept it like this, to see if the game sorted it out (plus, he was a loyal corpse). Unfortunately I didn't save a screenshot. The game never fixed the problem.
In the end (no pun intended), I "killed" him through the console cheat "die". He properly died then, and was replaced the following month by a papal stooge who has since given me some trouble
Has anyone else seen this?
