Gibralter un attackable ??

Hi am playing as Brazil. Joined Axis and want to attack Gibralter. But for some really annoying reason i cant attack it from amphibious assault or even by land !! My ships (Based in Ascunsion and well within range for an Amphibious Assault) cannot enter the Gib straights as im at war with Britain (understandable, but still stupid none the less) So i had to do a cheat to allow nationalist Spain give me military access. Have put a force in Malaga and Seville but guess what i cant send them into attack Gib ?? Is this a bug or an annoying oversight from the devs. Sorry to sound a bit negative as i love this game but is just sooo annoying as it seems almost impossibe to capture a vital place for my grand strategy. Thanks for any tips.

You can't attack from territory where a nation gives you military access. You would have to pull your forces out of Spain, cancel military access, then declare war on Spain, invade and blitz through to Gibraltar before the UK can reinforce. Has anyone invaded UK home islands and India? Much easier to take Gibraltar from starving troops.

Also, I don't believe Gibraltar has a beach in the game, so you have to come by land.
