Information : English is not my native language, so i might wrongly misinterpret somes texts i read.

Context :
i was wandering on the internet to see if anyone had already made a compilation of all the portraits from the Season 09 that the develops showcased.
While searching, i came across several pictures about "Glamazons Species" Stellaris, attributed to the studio "Eat Create Sleep!".
From posts i found, it's mentioned that this is a collaboration between Paradox and the studio.
Apparently, the studio pitched a DLC concept for Stellaris and got them the job. It stated we will be able to see their work in 2025.
Additionally, it's claimed that the "Glamazons Species" is a pilot project for a Stellaris DLC.

What do you think ?
Am i misunderstand things, or is it something coming ? Or could it be something entirely different ?

Honestly the Ship Set and Glamazons Portraits look incredible.
The purple ship models and the religious look necroid designs fit perfectly with "Shadow of the Shroud".

Very interesting. Maybe doing two big dlcs like Biogenesis and Shadows of the Shroud in a single year encouraged them to collaborate with a different studio a bit for SotS, but maybe it's also something completely separate.

The portraits aren't *quite* what I'd expect from Stellaris. But I honestly welcome some variety in that regard, they have a different charm to them, and the ships don't look out of place in the least. Good job from the Eat Create Sleep team.

I must say, though, it's a bit of a surprise to hear about it like this. Odd that this art is out there when Paradox hasn't made an announcement. Maybe this is all just a proof of concept thing. To show what they're capable of for future collaborations?

I am fairly sure paradox hires outside studios a lot, this might be one of those. Paradox would likely not make any announcements, though they may confirm the collaboration.

The posts have been up for a while. Certainly gives vibes that fit the shroud.
Indeed! And it looks like that the "powercore" of those ships is somewhat shroud related. The design looks increadible good too.

In any case, very good catch OP!

From what it looks like perhaps we are getting more sexually dimorphic additions to certain races. I know there are popular mods that already do that for ones that don't have it.

I can't imagine Paradox is too happy having their DLC leaked by a 3rd party studio. But I guess that's one of the risks outsourcing side projects like this.

To be honest, I'm not sure this is a "leak". Artists that work with Stellaris have put their art on their artstation portfolios before. It seems to be pretty standard practice, and I would be surprised if there isn't a part in their contracts that allow it.

And they've been up for months already. I imagine if Paradox were worried about it or considered it a leak, they would have had it taken down.

That's my read on it, anyway.

We know from an official Youtube video that the Shroud DLC is definitely bringing us a new portrait pack. So this is probably concept art made by the (or one of the) commissioned artists. Glamazons might be the name of a prescripted empire using those new art assets, the new enclave, or maybe some new AI empire that arrives from the Shroud via events or covenants or something.

If I were paradox, I wouldn't throw away such a high-quality asset. If they were not up to the standard, I would release it as a free DLC at least. Not bad for the players right?

I certainly hope these will be available in the future. The portraits look very competently made, and the Shipset is amazing.

These are part of something that we chose not to pursue.

It's possible that you may end up seeing the ones that were done in future content as event ships or the like though.

They were given permission to use the assets in their portfolios.

Kinda sad, same for some of the ideas for Imperial shipsets such as the gold white one. They looked awesome.
