patch 1.03b :
there the socialist revolution event has startdate :
date = { day = 21 month = february year = 18905 }
offset = 25
deathdate = { day = 30 month = december year = 1920 }

so it can't fire or ?

Nope. Simply change it to 1895.

especially since this stands in the description of patch 1.03b

i couldn't find the bug already posted by a quicksearch so just posted it to be sure that it's not missed

good to know that it will be fixed in 1.04
just wondered because i found it in 1.03 and wondered why it is still there also like above said in patch 1.03b its stated as fixed

I was puzzled by the 1.03b-readme comment too; I'd think that the easiest way to fix this problem would be to update the file, but it wasn't part of the patch.

However, the fix is easy to do yourself, so you can still get your own, personal socialist revolution with 1.03(b).

Bugger this is serious - Johan forgot to update the event files in the beta patch. I'll check which ones are affected and see if I can post the ones that have changed.
