Well since the 1.8 patch will be released this Wednesday, I'm just guessing that we might expect the next IGC soon after. So go Hartmann! :) One lil wish: please try to make this installment more stable since after playing many mp games with both GC and IGC, it became apparent that the IGC crashes heck of a lot more often...

Thanks for the encouragment, tuna! :) The IGC 1.6 will come out as soon as patch 1.08 is there.
In fact it´s already finished, but it will presuppose 1.08 gameplaywise - therfore the deliberate delay.

Hmm, I know that the IGCs up til 1.5d crashed quite often, but version 1.5e shouldn´t boast more crashes than the GC 'in principle'.
I in the meantime have tools to check scenarios and other files for integrity, which even helped me to get rid of errors taken over from the original GC!
On the other hand there may be somewhat more crashes simply due to the more things going on in an average IGC game. But my 'beta' of IGC 1.6 didn´t crash on me for a long time now so I think it´s almost as stable as can be. :)

To tell the truth, IGC 1.05e works just fine in single player on my PC as well :) It's during multiplayer games that the game crashes more often than the regular GC... but I guess that might be due to a horde of random factors. In any case, thanks a lot for the prompt answer.

In fact, multiplayer games do *NOT* crash more often than singleplayer games, if you manage to have *exactly identical* configurations on all computers. That's what I have discovered playing (many) MP sessions.

Yes, I think that´s it exactly. :)
