I don`t think so, John. France got more MP than me before, so i had to do pre-emptive before-Nappy strike. That costed me Breslau, when Prussia started to demanded it when i finally could really invade France after several years of fighting.
First wave of attack of Nappy France (with Davout in head - but i lost my best leader by random death, second best -1 shock) ended in wp because of some luck. I have clear sight to understand that normally i should lose 1 on 1 to Nappy.

Sorry to have to miss the session but I am invited to Christmas glögg drop in. What glögg is, is up to yourself to find out, but I can say it is black and its contents may sometimes be alcoholic but there is a children version too.
So anyway, I was lucky to find KJ to be my good sub so I wish all neighbours a happy session and I hope no one will cry of my absent, nor celebrate it.

Just realized this would have been my last EU2 session for a long time or the last one forever. Sniff. Well I will be lurking in the forums and return when EU3 is released.
Good last session there, my plan for world domination would have worked if it weren't for those pesky kids, erm I mean countries.
..And so it ends. Sweden got back the provinces that were lost in previous session to Russia. So I guess I'm relatively happy with the end result

What a glorious war! The plan of lurring the unsuspecting Ottomans into St Petersburg worked like a charm, while Russians seized the real decisive area, China, and the famed Forbidden city. We now have + 7 warscore, which is less than the +40 warscore we had at one point still clearly shows that we are ahead in this war.
Our plan to lure the Dutch into the war also worked perfectly. What better way to increase the glory of Russia than to make it a double victory, rather than just defeating the OE? The glorious ruler will be praised for ages by the Russian people, those who have no already died for the cause.
The fact that the OE has had 99 warscore on our great nation for some time was part of the plan as well. What better way to give the Sultan a false sense of achievement? This allowed for the coup de grace at the end which secured us the +7 warscore we needed for victory. All hail mother Russia!

It was my idea to quickly defeat Russia when those were fighting Sweden and after that dow Austria to liberare Prussia.
Unfortunately, the war with John took 13 years and still isn't finished
He must have taken 15 stab hits at least, and I even had 99 WS for a while, but he did a great job overrunning my defenses in China, which are WS heavy provinces.
All in all I am pretty content with this game. One of my mistakes was that I didn't concentrated on a navy when I had NT 51 instead. And I should probably have dowed Austria instead of Russia. They can't touch me in China

And lost several leaders in the process, the cream of Sweden. Leaders are definitely more important in this age than provs, and since Russia lost no leaders fighting you, I think all in all that means Russia came out ahead against Sweden as well
im satisfied with the game too...despite my manpower mistake and the dow on port which failed heavily, i can say i have done almost my best with this france till the end...congratulations to tonio who certainly won this game, with pragmatic playing and good fighting as always!
edit: guys, im searching for a new game as perm now...i wont play eu3 because my pc is too worse...so i could join in armageddon as example if there is a good spot open!
