How long are your end game turns taking? At sots1 rates even 20 turns would be painfully long to wait, never mind 80.

This isn't even late-game, more like early or midgame (~90)
I did techrush afterall.
For stability reasons, I also turned off GMs & encounters, and there is only one AI

Just finished researching them as Zuul. Very cool looking. Also full battle armor for Thundering Fists. Don't think I'll be able to actually construct it though for quite some time ... 275 million!
How are the ships in combat? Worth the money?

Doesn't look like it's random encounters, which I have disabled for now. It looks like something the AI does.

Wait are all the ships in the background battleriders? So you can put battleriders IE the destroyers on the LV? Or the BattlerCruisers, or the Battleships? How many of each does the LV hold?
For Humans there are only Battleriders (ie Destroyer sized vessels). Yes, all of those are BRs, and I only used up about a third of its capacity IIRC, so in total I'd guesstimate maybe 50ish? This is a Carrier type LV, theres also a Standard one with more guns and less riderspace.
The Tarka have Battleriders and Battlecruisers (also known as Hunters).
The Liir/Zuul have those two along with Battleships.
The rest only have Battleriders.

So we have a dedicated carrier class and a combat class of leviathan so far. Any other special types of LV?
Nope; just those two base hulls: the idea is that what with all the modules they support, they provide a good deal of flexibility

There is one way I guess the community could find out. Have at least one person who has played each race upload a save game with a leviathan onto a file sharing website like Mediafire.

Step 5: hoard money while building LV thats outfitted with lame starter weapons XD

Ok, I am now over 150 turns later, and have begun construction on my second LV prototype. Estimated time of completion? 9 turns. (Ok well, I have a real forge system going)
I need to start saving up money fast though, since it costs more than last time
(I put significantly better weapons on it this time around though XD)
