After something of a break from EU2, I've begun playing again. Previously I mostly played significant powers-Sweden, France, and Poland especially-but I've taken to playing little guys like Savoy and Granada this time around. That said, I remember a few months back someone mentioning something about fantasy events for them if they somehow survived past 1490. Did anything ever come to that? It's mildly irritating having the same monarch for three hundred years, and not having any leaders or events. I'd come up with something myself, but I've not really done anything with the code beyond changing minor things before, and I'd probably screw it up. It'd certainly be interesting for a Muslim power to be involved in the colonization of the New World, for one thing. The interaction with the Ottomans as the "other" European Muslim power would be entertaining, as well.
