I frequently get a VERY annoying graphic bug which makes, first all character screens
look-through.. I for some reason can't take ingame pictures anymore (Thx steam) and
my print screen button doesn't seem to work inside of CK2 either.

With "look-through" I mean that it dissapears, I only see the character portrait and
the text. Everything else is removed and making me being able to see the map through the
character screen.

This later also happens in the court screen, and even in some events.

f12 is the CK2 key for screenshots.

PC or Mac? If PC, please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the "Sound devices" section for brevity). And can you confirm you are on 1.05g GUHH ?

PC where do I find the txt file? And yep I use 1.05g GUHH.

Are you playing the base game or a mod? The see-through windows are the classic clausewitz-reaction to running out of RAM for cached graphics, so lots of graphics-heavy mods cause that problem, especially on 64bit-systems that didn't manually change the .exe to accept more than 2GB of RAM.
It shouldn't happen in vanilla, though.

I have no Graphic mods. :s
So I don't see how the RAM should be any problems.
I have 6 GB of RAM. So :/

How much RAM you have is unimportant, it's how much RAM the game gets to use that's the issue.
Still, if you're not running a graphics-heavy mod, that shouldn't be the issue. It's most likely your graphics card.
Post the dxdiag.txt AndrewT asked for. You can access that by going to the start menu-> run -> dxdiag (or searching for it; should be in the system32-folder). Save the diagnostic and post the text here.

Is this what you need?

Yes, that's what I wanted, but it looks perfectly fine. When you say "I have no graphics mods" are you saying you are using mods to the game, just not graphic-based ones?

Also, let's see settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload) - these are all under your MyDocuments folder, under the CK2 or CK2/logs/ directories.

I am using mods, but the problem happens both with mods and without.
It seems to be happening more frequently later in the game.

The log indicates that the game does run out of texture memory, so my first guess seems to be correct.
Although I have no idea why there's a problem even playing the vanilla game, as your system should be able to handle it fine...

Still, my advice would be to follow the instructions in this post, but apply it to ck2.exe, instead of eu3game.exe (the guide is written for fixing the problem in EU3).
As always when changing important files, you may want to backup ck2.exe.

That seems to have helped! Thank you alot! :)
