Graphical errors

Installed CK+DV and I have three missing files: the missing files are palette 'gfx\palette\eyr_btn_back.bmp
palette\eyr_btn_forward.bmp
palette\eyr_symbols_palette.bmp

In other words, the background for my character traits are all kind of out of alignment. Now I googled it, and found this thread: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?397962-Patch-extract

So I followed these instructions:

You should install your game and mod as follows

1. Crusader Kings
2. Deus Vult
3. Betapatch of October 15
4. DVIP


If you have Crusader Kings Complete (= the CD-version of CK+DV) then you need to install as follows

1. Crusader Kings Complete
2. Betapatch of October 15
3. DVIP

Previously I installed ck then patched it, then installed DV. So now I installed CK, installed DV, and patched CK. Which of course left me with CK 1.05 and NOT dues vult. So basically this glitch has left with me with a DV where I cant create or give titles, assign courtier positions or really tell what my stats are, or play the demonstrably inferior CK.

Note I only followed the instructions up to the DVIP part as I dont want to install that. Did I misinterpret these instructions? What should I do?

You could first try to patch DV again with the latest beta, to see if that fixes the problem. If not, then you have to do a complete re-installation.
