Those temperatures look fine (I see online reports of temps in the 70s and 80s for that video), but were they taken when the problem was occurring? Or before the game started?

There is a slightly newer driver for your video http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/43997

It will go as high as 75C GPU and 65C CPU but the problem appears to occur irregardless of current temps. (I just cleaned all my fans, heats etc prior to playing last night). The glitch can happen within a few minutes of starting or after an hour of playing, there doesn't appear to be a consistent cause.

I was using the newer driver prior to reporting this (296.10 I think it is) however it also occurred there, the first thing I did was roll back to the previous driver.

Edit: After looking through the Prince and Thane mod thread someone posted a link possible fix for "transparent menu's"...

If you are referring to changing the ck2.exe that way, that is of course utterly unsupported. And certainly not necessary for vanilla CK2; if a mod really needs that, well, I wouldn't play it.

It does seem to need it, and it does work. I crash when trying to play the mod without it. I guess because it is a big mod, but it is worth it. That mod is twice as interesting as vanilla.

it might be worth adding that I get this glich when playing the vanilla version
