Great-grandchildren cannot inherit

I just experienced the least probable scenario: both my son and grandson died before me. But to my huge shock, my heiress is now my granddaughter and not my great-grandson.

I've noticed the same thing today. If you hover over the drop of blood it doesnt say "great grandson" it just says "of your dynasty" so they probably only searched down two levels for inheritances
