It sounds like USSR is too strong starting in 36... then again if those divs in Kiev had been destroyed...

500 divisions in an MP game...... that's friggin insane! In every MP AAR I've read so far, the SU has utterly and completely crushed Germany. Judging by the stat screen and your encirclements, it looks like you're going to get an overwhelming victory here too. Is it even possible for Germany to win in MP?

SU is way overpowered in 36' scenario. IMO that scenario is unplayable in MP.

Before everyone overreacts and says the SU is too powerful I would like to remind you that Germany and it's European allies still have 421 divisions of superior troops, and it will be no easy task to defeat them. Also at least 100 of the 500 Soviet divisions are 1918, which are next to useless on the offensive.

I'm pretty sure not all of Germany's units are up to snuff either and he won't be using that any Spanish in Russia. And if you include Italian units, then you might as well include UK units too, and the UK has 100 more divisions than the Italians. I guess it's not just the SU that makes the game unbalanced, but the fact that each Axis nation is designed to be weaker than its Allied counterpart. US > Japan, UK >>>>> Italy, and SU > Germany. Of course that's how it should be..... but the difference should be toned down for balancing purposes.

What you are saying is totally true that in the end the allies combined are just stronger then the Axis. Thats why the Axis are in the offensive and have to cripple the allies, taking important and strategic territory and be inventive.

Part 3
A Bitter Stalemate

1941 was a good year for the Red Army. The German invaders were repelled back to their border and the Japanese were occupied with the British and Americans in India. The Germans had clearly suffered a huge blow during the Crimean offensive in the south, but Soviet attacks were failing more and more, and the Soviet southern offensive was stopped at the pre-war border with Romania. Despite many victories the Soviet Union had one huge problem; like Germany, it's manpower reserves were completely exhausted. Clearly the great patriotism of the Russian people had led every single man in in the Soviet Union fit for service to join the great crusade against fascism.

In April 1942 Marshal Zhukov mounted an exhausting campaign to liberate Warsaw. It was a brutal battle, but the Soviet troops outnumbered the Germans 4:1 and Warsaw was liberated on April 13th 1942. In Scandinavia, Field Marshal Voroshilov and his conspicuously titled "Scandinavian Invasion Force" mounted a campaign of freedom to liberate the people of Norway and Sweden from capitalist opression. Surprisingly a few divisions of misguided troops put up a fight, but they were crushed when fresh reserves arrived from Finland.

By fall 1942 Scandinavia was finally red, but the Soviet advance had made virtually no progress after Warsaw. On paper it looked like an easy victory, the Red Army had reached 615 divisions, but every single attempted attack past Warsaw was repelled with huge loses to Soviet manpower. The Japanese had also started an invasion in the far east, Vladivostok and several other provinces had been taken before the Red Army even had time to react. At least a quarter of Soviet divisions were below half strength, and many were below 10%. See for yourself why I didn't bother reinforcing. The only positive news was that new 1943 infantry divisions and level V tanks had finally come into production after the serial runs of 15-20 infantry divisions started in 1940 were finished. At this point the Germans were constructing elaborate fortification systems in an attempt to slow down the Soviet attack while not wasting any manpower, making advance towards Berlin even harder.

OMG, this's the 1st time I've ever seen SU run out of manpower...what happened?
500 divisions did happen.

And several counterattacks surely.

But if that's how he's standing, I don't even dare to measure how bad the German player is... mmmmmmbbbbuehehehehehe...
