Griffon Update: Possible Crash Bug

Description​

My computer has been able to run Age of Wonders 4 just fine up until now. I have all DLC. For some reason as of this update, going into the faction creation screen results in a crash in under 60 seconds. My fan speeds pick up to obscene degrees, my screen goes black but sound keeps playing and I have to hard shut off the computer which makes me think it's probably overheating. I've adjusted fanspeeds, lowered the settings to minimums, downloaded drivers, and the issue persists. While there is a chance it's a hardware issue on my end, there's also a chance that software wise there is something overworking on that screen. Age of Wonders 4 is the game I play the most these days so it would be sad for me if this persisted into the official Griffon launch.

Similar crashes occur when using the browse feature to look at units, but so far has not occurred during gameplay.

Hey Bootymcboots, thank you for reaching out. Could you please provide us with the crash report name? Generally a game on it's own is not able of causing your PC to Restart. Typically that indicates that there's a hardware failure somewhere in your setup that we're hitting.
