Where can I get a guide to modding?

One has yet to be produced for this game. Most of us who know how (I expect) learned from the predecessor, EU III.

Depending on what you want to mod, you can look at what is already there. The easiest way to learn is to start by modifying what already exists.

If you want to make new events, check out the event catalogue in the install folder and find an event you don't like and try to alter it by checking out how other events are made. Don't forget to make a backup first.

The hardest part to modify are the .fx files (if it's anything like EU3), so wait with thoose. If you absolutly want to, go to the EU3 forums and read up on Modestus progress with thoose.

For graphics, open up relevant folders and just try to figure out how it works. Read discussions on what others have figured out here on the forum.

All this means it is going to take some time before you can start your supermod but this is what any modding community starts with when the game is new, and it is actully pretty interesting.
