Just a quick thought ; you know when you play those Scenories in the 1700's (ex: American Revolution , etc.) and your Infantry uses guns when attacking? Well in the Grand Campaign , when you start in 1492 you have those Pikes...DO they ever change to guns? If so , what year do they change and do you have to reach a certain Tech level for them to change or do they change by them sleves?

- I am currently playing as Turkey and the year is already 1650 and still no guns just those Pike guys. I do believe in the 1600's they had guns (not in the game , in real life) so since EU is a histrcal game , should nt there be guns already?

Thanks ,

It's based on Land Tech Level I believe, but I'm not sure if the Turks benefit, I can't recall seeing them with a different little guy.

Nations change from pikemen to arqubusiers to musketmen at various tech levels-some nations don't though. The Venetians, for example, appear to have arquebusiers for the entire rest of the game no matter what their actual tech level.:)

probably they have a different fashion in lissabon that don't allow those three cornered-hats;)

I wonder why...
Will it be another *"Portugal Fashion" exclusive?

*is the biggest fashion show here.
