We really want some new territory now, but what county to take? The only option we have that is actually possible, is landing on Maracaibo in Venezuela. So we order our transports to set sail for the gulf of Venezuela, where they’ll ferry the men to a new continent!
March 5th 1940
Our three infantry divisions have landed safely upon the beaches of maracaibo. We have also deployed our first cavalry division, and set it under command of major general charles, which is a real logistics wizard. Plan is to start taking Venezuelan provinces right of their capital, which are undefended. We plan to do this by raiding our cavalry through those lands.
We have also set up a supplie route to our military forces in Maracaibo.
March 10th 1940
Our cavalry forces have landed on the friendly Georgetown, and we ordered them to immidiately go to Mahdia, on the border with Venezuela. There is also some movement in the Venezuelan army, and it looks they’re planning to attack Mahdia with a cavalry division.
March 16th 1940
Our cavalry forces are in position. We ordered them to wait on the possible Venezuelan attack. Venezuela also ordered their infantry corps to attack our forces in Maracaibo. We’ll see what comes of it..
The Netherlands have also shared their research in interwar infantry weapons and battlefield C3I with us. This will be good for our future tech development.
March 23rd 1940
The enemy cavalry forces have stopped at the border with Mahdia. We’ll leave the eastern front as it is then. The enemy infantry corps is,however, still marching towards our position in Maracaibo. If they actually attack, it’ll most likely be good for our Venezuelan campaign. It might even help us to take the capital easily.
March 24th 1940
Our friends in Oman have shared their knowledge about interwar tanks with us. We don’t know if it will come in handy, but maybe we’ll be driving tanks somewhere in the future..
April 10th 1940
Oman has again shared research with us, this time about combat medical services. We have started research into blood transfusions, making our army better organized.
April 14th 1940
The battle for Maracaibo just began..
April 16th 1940
Ou troops lost the battle for Maracaibo... This seems to be the definitive end of our conquest.
