I'm from the Beginners MP crew and we are having problems with Hamachi. is it possible to lauch games or use it as a way to play together or not?

Hamachi does work in some instances (windows / PC / Network configuration) and has problems with others.
So far i heard only good comments about gameranger - try that one and report here.

Try with tunngle. Hamachi does not always work that well unfortunately. Gameranger is a disgraceful heresy and shall be destroyed.
Gameranger have been rather...Testy, We had a lot of Dropping and some crashes, however it works as well as I expected. We are trying to look for a better software
Here's brief guide how to use hamachi:
1. Everyone join the same hamachi channel\whatever it was. You can create your own one with password if you want.
2. The host will host a multiplayer game via internet -> host game.
3. All clients will use the host's Hamachi IP (as seen in hamachi) to go multiplayer -> internet -> enter hamachi IP -> join.
While I cannot confirm this personally I've heard that if there are people with Vista\Win7 joining the host must be running either one or otherwise some clients cannot connect. Bear that in mind just in case.
