A completely different AAR.


My first AAR so bear with anything that might come off as nooby.

the Prologue is a little picture heavy as well. Just to make sure.
I also should say that this was modded so the starting year is 1918 so the insane amount resources was for that reason. the back history is for that same reason.



The Soviet Union is a powerful and glorious nation! so mighty and strong! So huge and hard! Here is even a map to show just how far we become!

history of the world.

1918-1932:Nothing of real importance just been researching tank and infantry really. I was making plans for major invasions starting from 1933...

9 June 1933: Operation Santa have begun:

Operation Santa was an 3 year plan to take over the following nations in this order:

Finland
Sweden
and Norway.

The idea was to prepare for a hypothetical invasion from Germany. Should Germany declare war on us, then we can attack them from behind and possibly get rid of her government quickly as possible. Stalin felt that 3 years was enough to invade,conquer,annex,"control" and prep the land up for any wars that may arrive.

Here is the list of the plan stages and the time of the invasions, their annexations dates and any notes needed.

Finland:Time of invasion:9 June 1933 Time of Annexation: 27 December 1933.
Notes: this was a somewhat easy invasion. however the troops due to a clerical error have made the troops a bit lost and as a result a large amount of the troops had a hard slog to get to Finland...remarkably Finland did take this chance to completely send an counterattack, they just took one province from me.

Yeah i did some modding..not much but it's enough.... I'm just going to say that I can't update this in the weekend as i got a party to go to. anyway here is more History to look at. I will try to put some pictures up so you can gain a better understanding of this.

(how many pictures are we allowed per update? i think it was 10.. Pictures will come up as soon i have upoloaded up on photobucket.

OPERATION SANTA CONTINES! here is a picture showing the plan that Stalin formed up.

Sweden: Time of invasion: 2 April 1934. Time of Annexation : 30 June 1935

Notes: Bloody hell. That was what the troops said about the war in Sweden. It was one hell of a long and tiring war,made worse with the lack of roads and if their was any roads, they were so bad that it was worse than it was without them. The swedes fight to the bitter end some people say..this war simply made it true. every man who was caple of fighting, fought. the hilly terrain only slowed things down. this time they were a lot harder than Stalin predicted, he begun to worry about the deadline and considering extending it, but felt against it.

Norway: Time of invasion :14 July 1935 Time of Annexation:30 July 1935

Notes:After the long war of Sweden, the commanders was now planning a quick way to conquer nations before they could gather up their own troops. After just 15 day of hard planning, the started the invasion.
The troops was placed that the invasion would come fast, hard, and if needed to, devastation. however the annexation of Norway after just under a fortnight stunned everyone, including Stalin! When Stalin heard of the Annexation of Norway. He apparently dropped his famous pipe and started to gibber like a monkey....
SIDENOTE:In secret, a memo asking for a phychairst was posted few hours later after Stalin was seen drawing the map with a red crayon. Nobody knew how he got a crayon in the first place but no-one was willing to ask.)

After a long rest, Stalin introduced his new plan, He called it....

Operation HAMMERFALL.

this time it was focusing on Turkey so the troops that was fighting in Santa was needed in turkey,many troops felt that it would be a holiday compared with what they have fought in..

HOW WRONG THEY WERE....

When the troops moved in turkey at around Fall 1935. they were very successful, to prevent a massive war from breaking out. Stalin created some phony "peace" meetings. however nobody told him that he can't do it every-time he invades someone. that fact was shown to him in an horrible, yet amazing way.
25 March 1936
Turkey was finally under Soviet control and HAMMERFALL was going smoothly, the next stage was to invade Greece. nobody knew why but many believe it was just out of spite from the Crimean War. however HAMMERFALL was just the beginning of WW2.

30 March 1936: Italy Declares War of Soviet Union. This came as a shock, but was predicted during the early stages of HAMMERFALL. Once the powder-keg have sparked creating another World War...

but with a strange twist... with a single month here is the countries that have declared war of the Soviets:

The entire east Europe was in red with Hitler in charge of the whole thing. The real WTF moment was when Hitler taking on the most powerful nation on the planet through it would be good to take on the French at the same time....Germany Decealed war against France on the same day. Stalin was reported of climbing the Saint Petersburg Cathedral with nothing other than his underwear when he heard the news... He managed to climb to the top then promptly celebrated by RUNNING DOWN THE WHOLE WAY! The press said it was an defiant action against the enemy of the people.Some people felt it was a omen,that Russia will climb a long and hard mountain to be more powerful than gods! Few people think aloud that Stalin just gone completely and utterly insane. the next day, those people strangely and suddenly stopped going to their workplace...

As I knew that you might want to know about how the Second World War unfolded well I'm going to show you the maps of the starting positions of the 3 major Alliances Starting with ours, then the Allies and ending with the axis.
(You might notice that some parts of the map have been changed. it should be mentioned that the maps came from the propaganda room in all 3 sides.

as you can see, the axis are not in a very-good section right now. made worse by the fact that I have got the largest army even with their armies put together! there was much bloodshed and chaos that WW2 was just one battle after another with no let up. However the Soviets was, with their tank horde and their version of Blirgzring (the commanders who thought that up called it a "Russian Rushing" or to many, ZERG Rush.) They manged to take over half of Eastern Europe in just 3 months. after a huge cock up on the axis side, our valiant troops have reached German and Italian Soil!

SANTA proved to be very useful as the invasion worked well, 2 invasions was made at the same time, only 1 made it on dry land, the troops landed just 25 kms from Berlin.

it may seem that way but Berlin was NOT an easy thing to crack. amazingly the guys who were defending the place hand an defence AND offence of 141% effective! it took around 95 '51 Armour tanks to fight 6 '18 infantry. It was insane. it spent a long as the war did, but when Berlin fell the rest of the country fell as well. France didn't take a lot of land from Germany maybe because it was my war first.

Eastern Europe just collapsed with the brute force of our tanks. and well....it was very annoying due to the retreating troops claiming our land and having to shift some of the forces around made it worse. The infrastructure didn't help. one of my tank division spent an entire mouth trying to enter a single province!

I will start doing the AAR on monday as i have to spent the rest of the night at my job.

I will still respond but i can't repond between 10PM to 10AM. and not at all on a Sunday.
